My Weight Loss Academy – With Appetite Suppressants (MWLA+)
Use of Prescription Appetite Suppressant Medication:
The use of appetite suppressants at the Center for Weight Loss Success is an additional weight loss treatment option that requires a physician visit. Appetite suppressants can be extremely helpful for those who still experience a problem with hunger after implementing an adequate protein and low carbohydrate diet.
Anyone considering appetite suppressants must have documented medical clearance from their PCP, including a normal EKG, well-controlled blood pressure, and regular follow-up visits scheduled with their PCP. Your medical clearance form will be provided during your registration process.
An appetite suppressant prescription will be written by the physician for you to fill at the pharmacy of your choice.
This requires a short physician visit (typically 10 minutes).
- The initial physician appointment ($199.00) includes a 60-90 day written prescription for the appetite suppressant and access to My Weight Loss Academy (MWLA) with all of its educational components.
- Follow-up visits with the physician to obtain a written prescription are $150.00 each visit.
The appetite suppressant utilized is Phentermine. This medication has been available for over 60 years with a strong safety profile and is also fairly inexpensive.
We look forward to assisting you with your weight loss. Appetite suppressants can be a wonderful way of helping you achieve your goals.
